Abstract

XJTLU Design School participated in the exhibition with a booth designed with Suzhou features, showcasing the design from Industrial Design and Architecture Department. Several products and Steel Fusion 2.0 Pavilion were exhibited.
WIDC 2024‌ (World Industrial Design Conference) is a globally influential platform driving innovation in industrial design. Held from September 20-22 in Yantai, China, the event united 61 countries under the theme Design: New Productive Forces, showcasing AI-integrated solutions and sustainable designs. Featuring keynotes from industry leaders and the unveiling of the China Design Top 100, WIDC 2024 fostered cross-border collaboration, establishing the ‌World Industrial Design Association‌ (WIDA) to shape future design ecosystems. It attracted thousands of visitors for the venues.
