Abstract

This research investigates the dynamic relationship between architectural identity and spatial essence through the lens of yogic philosophy and
ecotheology, addressing urban ecological challenges and the ethical implications
of technology. The study challenges traditional architectural paradigms by proposing a multi-layered yogic framework (the koshas) to reinterpret spatial essence as a fluid, interconnected phenomenon. Employing a hybrid methodology
of theoretical analysis and AI-driven speculative visualization, the research explores how each kosha layer contributes to the collective essence of space, visualized through AI-generated imagery. Key findings reveal spatial identity as a
dynamic system intersecting with urban ecology, offering new sustainable design
pathways. The study emphasizes the role of architecture in fostering ecological
and spiritual harmony, while critically engaging with the ethical implications of
AI in shaping urban futures. This research contributes to architectural theory by
integrating Eastern philosophical perspectives, advancing sustainable urban design, and demonstrating the potential of AI as a tool for speculative exploration.
