Abstract

Two novel tetradecanuclear hydroxo-lanthanide complexes, formulated as Ln₁₄(μ₄-OH)₂(μ₃-OH)₁₆(μ-η²-acac)₈(η²-acac)₁₆, Ln = Tb, 1; Eu, 2; acac = acetylacetonato, were synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis and phosphorescence spectroscopy.
