Abstract

In this paper, the temperature monitoring of the automatic oven and heating-furnace are taken for example to show how to set-up and monitor temperature of the furnace. The host personal computer (PC) sends the command to PLC through the monitoring interface of the temperature controlling system, then PLC collects date immediately, processes them, and controls equipment operation on the spot. PLC uploads the temperature detected by the temperature sensor to superior PC so that information concerning the management of actual operation can be real-time displayed on the monitor interface. By means of the actual temperature controlling, this paper introduces the process of controlling system network communications through VB, and demostrates the programming of the real-time control and management of the temperature monitoring system.
