N2 - The exponential rise in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) software has garnered significant attention in the education field, driven by recent advancements and increasing popularity. This transformative technology is reshaping how educators conduct research, transform teaching through innovative curriculum and assessment designs, while also enhancing students' learning experiences and developing their skills and entrepreneurial competencies. This paper introduces the Creative Innovator's Toolkit (CIT) module, an innovative entrepreneurship educational initiative implemented at XJTLU. The module showcases cutting-edge approaches to integrating AI as a complementary tool within the project-based learning pedagogy. It emphasizes the development of AI literacy, alongside fostering critical thinking, teamwork, and a structured, iterative process for coursework. This approach mitigates the risk of over-reliance on AI for generating repetitive content instead of promoting continuous reflection, refinement and meaningful learning. By exploring the potential of AI tools to enhance entrepreneurship education, this study provides valuable insights for educators, students and institutions, seeking to effectively integrate AI into academic settings. It aims to serve as a catalyst for broader discussions on the use of AI and the project-based learning approach in entrepreneurship education for engineers in this evolving field.
