Abstract
Playground Unfinished
The Dreamweaving Project Vol. 1
Playground Unfinished marks the first exhibition of the Dreamweaving Project, offering an experimental proposition on the themes of utopian ideal, speculative narrative, and the mediation between fantasy and reality.
This exhibition brings together a group of emerging artists from diverse disciplines—architecture, illustration, moving image, and craft—on an unnamed "island of imagination." Through painting, installation, handcrafted materials, and visual storytelling, they construct an incomplete sketch of a utopia woven through multiple dimensions.
This “playground” does not aim for perfection or finality. Rather, it is a drifting field, an atelier of dream built over time. Fragmented and open-ended, it thrives on the freedom of unbounded imagination. While the exhibition revisits the cultural archetype of utopia, its focus lies in Unfinishedness—those spaces still forming, splitting, and evolving into new imaginative territories.
Here, art becomes both a cross-media tool of exploration and an act of quiet repair. You’ll encounter evolving landscapes, drifting cities, speculative architecture, and blueprints drawn from nonlinear narratives. It is within these gaps and fragments that we invite viewers to engage with their own sense of wonder—a gentle resistance to a world in flux.
Playground Unfinished offers no answers. It is an open island—one where you are invited to wander, linger, lose your way, and keep drawing.
