Abstract

One of the method to improve performance of QoS is retransmission. For retransmission, one-way delay is essential because it should be known for correct retransmission. This paper proposes a one-way delay estimation scheme for efficient retransmission. In the proposed scheme, one-way delay is estimated by packet intervals. The simulation results demonstrate that estimated one-way delay is similar with real one-way delay and retransmission can be operated correctly by using the proposed scheme.
