Abstract
Starting from a case study located in the outskirts of Milan's Rogoredo area, the article presents an urban regeneration project proposing solutions to urgent problems of neglect and degradation. The article discusses a working modality based on the regeneration of rural plots, historical presences and the creation of new public spaces that become substructures for the realization of a new multifunctional complex integrated in the overall urban design.
