Exploring the Use of Generative AI for Developing Evaluation Indicators for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in China

Entrepreneurship is crucial for economic growth and innovation worldwide, and universities help students develop entrepreneurial skills. These institutions provide opportunities for students to start businesses and improve their job prospects. A strong education system focused on innovation and entrepreneurship can significantly benefit China’s economic and social progress. Understanding this, the Chinese government has introduced policies to enhance entrepreneurial education and prepare students for future success. With the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI tools are becoming useful in education, offering new ways to improve learning. This study looks at how well educational systems for innovation and entrepreneurship are evaluated using generative AI versus traditional methods. The study used content analysis to find key indicators from existing literature on Chinese entrepreneurship education and created a framework using word frequency analysis. Then, it used AI tools like ChatGPT-4.0 and Gemini to develop another framework based on these indicators. Comparing both frameworks, the study found that the AI generated indicators mostly matched those from the traditional analysis, with Gemini providing the closest match.
