Abstract

The Environmental Model for Decision Making (abbr.as EMD) is briefly presented. The design and implementation of the EMD-based controlling component of DSS is carefully discussed and analyzed. This component provides a mechanism for applying the EMD technique to the development of DSS, and also becomes the controlling subsystem in the decision support system. The application of the component is finally presented.
