Abstract

The design of microstrip offset feed circular polarised and nearly square patch antenna operating at 2.45 GHz was presented. The feed of a nearly square patch was offset away from the corner feed position. The ratio of two dimensions of the patch was increased to maintain the circular polarization condition. Results showed that with the offset feed the effect of manufacturing errors on the performance of the antenna was reduced.
