Abstract
The contribution analyses the historical, morphological and typological situation of the city of Bari (Italy). In addressing this issue, it develops a 'biographical' reading by narrating and showing, through graphic diagrams, the urban development relationships and modes, the multi-scalar relationships, the geographical relationships, and the infrastructural systems that have sustained it in its development throughout its history.
