Abstract

Bamboo Fusion is experiment with robotic and AR-assisted fabrication. The design of the pavilion started with a simple icosahedron. The main structure is generated with the contour, substructure is developed in a perpendicular manner to make the structure stable. Bamboo cladding panels are designed in the out side with the help of AR for assembly. The base is made with cnc timber sheets. The assembly of the overall system is all built with AR guidance.
