Abstract

Modern industrial civilization is unnatural and unsustainable because it relies heavily on fossil fuels,it is driven by economic competition, destroys life rather than protects it,and comes at the cost of the long-term health of the planet. For the common well-being of humanity, all aspects of life and organization must be reorganized with the promotion of life as the core guiding principle. As Living beings,we can redesign our own systems by learning from the core principles of living systems. The ecological civilization built on this basis will become an alternative to modern industrial civilization as a fundamentally life-affirming,natural and sustainable civilization
