Abstract
This work was co-created by third-year and fourth-year undergraduate students from Zhengzhou University, under the joint supervision of Lecturer Zhao Wei (Zhengzhou University) and Assistant Professor Zhao Jiangyang (Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University). The design comprehensively presents the full-process design logic and practical pathway, spanning from the optimisation of a building’s microclimate to robotic construction.
The outcomes of the work’s creation and exhibition have received high recognition and acclaim from the leadership of the School of Architecture at Zhengzhou University. As an inter-university collaborative initiative, this practice has not only established a high-quality platform for interactive exchange between the School of Architecture at Zhengzhou University and the School of Design at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University but also effectively enhanced the professional influence and industry recognition of the School of Design and its Department of Architecture at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
