[TIF] The AI Supported, Human Led Urban Design Studio Framework

This Design School Teaching Innovation Fund project develops and evaluates an AI supported, human led framework for urban design studio education. The framework establishes clear principles for integrating generative AI into research, scenario development, technical validation and visual communication while retaining human judgement, authorship and accountability. The project will be piloted through UPD211, UPD407 and the Global Workshop for Architecture and Urbanism in collaboration with the University of Seoul and Tongji University. I serve as Co Principal Investigator, leading implementation through UPD211, liaison with the University of Seoul for the international workshop, and dissemination through the UPD Cre8Place Lab.
