增强协同设计:面向建筑装置制造的人机混合现实(MR)协作
Fund Amount (RMB)

Description
This project introduces a new way to design and build architectural installations using cutting-edge technology. Participants will explore Augmented Co-Design, a process where humans and robot arms work together as creative partners within a Mixed Reality (MR) environment. Using MR headsets, students will see digital models overlaid onto the physical workspace. They will be able to intuitively place, shape, and modify virtual elements for an artistic architectural installation, whether it is a metal or wooden sculpture. The participants' partner, a robotic arm, will simultaneously work on other parts of the structure, enabling human-robot collaborative construction through the MR digital space. This allows for a fluid collaboration where design changes are instantly shared between the human and the machine, culminating in the collaborative fabrication of a physical installation. By merging human creativity with robotic precision in a shared digital-physical MR world, this SURF project aims to explore the future of hands-on, high-tech artistry.
