Project Details
Project Title (In Chinese)
使用分布式物联网传感器的图书馆智能噪音监测框架
Fund Amount (RMB)
50,000
Description
To create a smart library environment by implementing IoT technologies that monitor and control noise levels in group study rooms, ensuring a quieter, more conducive study atmosphere in the library
Key findings
1. The library will benefit from an improved study atmosphere, real-time monitoring, data collection for policy improvement, and enhanced user satisfaction.
2. Enable library staff to track noise issues in real time, allowing them to intervene as necessary.
3. For the School of Internet of Things, this project offers significant educational value by providing a practical application of IoT concepts and technologies, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and serving as a case study for further research. Additionally, it can be integrated into teaching modules, offering students hands-on experience in sensor integration, data analysis, and system design. This hands-on approach will help students develop critical skills for their future careers in IoT and related fields, while also demonstrating the school’s commitment to enhancing campus life and supporting student success.
4. Furthermore, the data and insights gained from this project can be used for result publication in conferences and journal papers, contributing to the academic community and showcasing the innovative work being done at the School of Internet of Things.
