The project covers research and development in multimodal recognition, knowledge graphs, deep learning, medical imaging, financial risk control, and natural language processing. The platform was structured into six service modules—marketing, operations, risk control, decision-making, customer service, and prediction—and delivered both standardized and customized AI solutions to more than 400 business scenarios across the Group.

• Deployed AI solutions across 62 B2B application scenarios, serving 160 million customers and supporting 310 million model calls.
• Marketing: Improved sales efficiency by 4.6% through precision customer profiling and intelligent recommendation, generating RMB 35 billion in additional sales in H1 2022.
• Risk control: Reduced non-performing loan rates and claims costs by 0.2%, saving RMB 5 billion in H1 2022.
• Operations and customer service: Automated customer service and optimized processes saved RMB 25 billion in labor and operational costs while increasing customer satisfaction.
• R&D and technology iteration: Reduced redundant development costs by RMB 10 billion through platform unification, while AI compliance monitoring prevented fines and losses worth RMB 5 billion.
• In total, the Ping An Brain created RMB 44 billion in economic value in H1 2022 alone.

The Ping An Brain became the central hub of the Group’s AI strategy and a benchmark case for financial digital transformation in China. Leveraging its success, I represented mainland China’s fintech sector at the 23rd Cross-Strait Financial Symposium, led by the People’s Bank of China, sharing Ping An’s practices in AI-enabled finance. The project also received the 2020 Ping An Technology “Double Hundred Plan+” Excellent Project Award and was incorporated into Ping An Technology’s Leadership Reserve Program. By delivering both business value and industry recognition, the Ping An Brain positioned Ping An as a leading innovator in financial AI transformation.
