• Built a multi-source public opinion data aggregation system covering over 700,000 news, social media, and short video items daily; algorithms reduced redundancy by 90%, improved accuracy by 90%, and cut manual review workload by 50%.
• Constructed a financial public opinion knowledge graph, designing a management system covering 3 dimensions and 13 sub-dimensions, and archived 25,000 historical public opinion records and 2,400 cases.
• Developed a public opinion communication impact model capable of issuing early warnings 24–48 hours in advance with 90% accuracy.
• Integrated the governance framework into the Group’s core risk management system, enabling Group-wide public opinion lifecycle management.

• From launch to mid-2022, the platform issued early warnings and enabled the handling of 186 major (Level 1 or above) public opinion incidents, preventing an estimated RMB 600 million in losses.
• Coverage extended across all Ping An financial subsidiaries, forming a comprehensive public opinion risk management loop.
• In Phase II, expanded data coverage into primary and secondary investment markets, enabling AI-based corporate risk factors to be incorporated into the investment process, supporting RMB 12 billion in primary market investments in 2021.
The AI Public Opinion “Prophet” Platform transformed Ping An’s approach from “manual collection + reactive analysis” to “automated sensing + proactive assessment + intelligent decision-making.” It became a critical tool for both risk management and brand governance, significantly strengthening the Group’s resilience against reputational and financial risks. Furthermore, by integrating public opinion analytics into investment decision-making, the project pioneered the convergence of public sentiment governance with financial risk management, offering a replicable model for the broader financial industry.
