Personal profile
Yiming Lu is a PhD Year 1 student in Civil Engineering at the University of Liverpool ( Desk at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University). She earned her MSc in Construction Management with Distinction from the University of Liverpool (XJTLU, 2024) and a BEng in Construction Management from Changzhou Institute of Technology (2018).
With extensive teaching experience as a Lecturer and Part-time Tutor, she has led undergraduate and postgraduate modules in digital technologies and sustainable project management. Yiming is committed to advancing research and education at the intersection of civil engineering, AI, and sustainable construction.
Her current research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence with construction waste management to promote circular economy practices. Specifically, she explores AI-empowered platform for intelligent waste sorting, recycling optimization, and the transformation of construction and demolition waste into valuable resources.
