Personal profile
This doctoral research focuses on "The development of optochemical pH sensing for the high pH-related concrete infrastructural health management". Aiming at the unique high-pH environment of concrete (usually >12.5), it screens high-pH-sensitive molecules and develops new optical sensors. A high pH environment is crucial for protecting steel bars and maintaining structural stability, and an abnormal pH decrease can cause structural deterioration, making real-time, accurate monitoring essential. This study develops optical sensors adaptable to complex concrete environments, addresses traditional monitoring pain points, enables precise pH tracking, and provides technical support for early warning of concrete infrastructure health, with both academic value and engineering application prospects.
