Personal profile
Haoyu Zhang is a PhD student at the Design School. He started his PhD study in January 2025. He received his Bachelors and Masters in Civil Engineering from the Changsha University of Science and Technology and the University of Sheffield. Before joining XJTLU, he was a BIM Engineer and Project Management Engineer at WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd. His research focuses on automation in construction, AGI robotics, and the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) within the construction domain. His supervisor team is consisted of Prof. Shu Tang (XJTLU), Prof. Jianli Hao (XJTLU), and Prof. David Chow (UoL).
