Zhilong Qian

钱志龙教授，西交利物浦大学未来教育学院副院长、博士生导师、教育创新实践者、作家、终身学习者。

他保送北京大学，旅美九年，先后获得伊利诺伊大学香槟分校传播学硕士、夏威夷大学第二语言研究硕士、东西方中心领导力证书，以及南加州大学教育领导学博士学位。

他的教育实践横跨中美两国，覆盖高等教育、学前及基础教育、职业教育。曾任美国洛约拉马利蒙特大学实践教授、美国半岛国际学校小学校长、中国传媒大学培训学院国际部主任、培德书院总校长，并在探月学校、百年职校、惠灵顿中国、益微青年等多家机构担任理事、董事和督学。

钱志龙博士创办了UNSCHOOL 无界共学，连接家长、学习者与教育创新者，探索“让教育回归生活，让学习真实自由”的更多可能。他访学全球400多所学校，出版著作10余部，在包括哈佛在内的国内外教育论坛演讲500余场，并将全球访学经历制作成教育微纪录片《一个校长的出走》。

他长期关注的，不只是学校和大学应该怎样改变，更是AI时代学习范式的进化，擅长把以人为本、与时俱进的教育理念转化为课程、项目、社区和跨界合作。

Dr. Qian is an educator, school leader, author and lifelong learner whose work has consistently crossed boundaries: between China and the United States, theory and practice, schools and society, and formal education and learning in everyday life.

A graduate of Peking University, Dr. Qian spent nine years in the United States. He holds master’s degrees in Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and in Second Language Studies from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, as well as a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California. His professional journey spans higher education, K–12 schooling, vocational education and lifelong learning.

In the United States, Dr. Qian served as a clinical professor at Loyola Marymount University, where he helped establish an innovative bilingual teacher education programme, and later as Elementary School Principal and Head of the Chinese Programme at the International School of the Peninsula.

After returning to China, he led international programmes at the Communication University of China, served as Founding Principal of the Shunyi Campus of Beijing International Bilingual Academy and as Head of Peide School, and took on governance and advisory roles with a range of schools, universities and non-profit organisations. These experiences have given him an unusual view of education from the classroom, the principal’s office, the boardroom and the wider social ecosystem.

Dr. Qian is the founder of UNSCHOOL, a lifelong learning community that connects parents, learners and educational innovators. Its guiding belief—“bringing education back to life and making learning genuine and free”—reflects his enduring commitment to learner agency, authentic experience and human flourishing. He has visited more than 400 schools around the world, published ten books on education and personal growth, and delivered over 500 talks at educational forums. Yet he often says that the more schools he visits, the less certain he becomes that education can be improved through ready-made answers.

At the Academy of Future Education, Dr. Qian hopes to contribute not only his cross-cultural experience and extensive network, but also his capacity to turn ideas into programmes, partnerships and sustainable educational practices. He is particularly interested in how universities can become open platforms for innovation—connecting research with real-world experimentation and enabling educators, young people and communities to learn with and from one another.

Colleagues will find Dr. Qian intellectually curious, candid and collaborative. He enjoys sincere conversations, new experiments and the occasional challenge to educational common sense. Above all, he joins the Academy with a simple conviction: the future of education should not merely be predicted; it should be created together.

西浦是双向选择的——你挑导师，导师也挑你。今年我带5个硕士、3个博士，名额不算少，但我想找的不是"来读个研"的人，而是愿意在真实的教育创新场景里，用项目式学习的方式完成传统学历要求的人。

说句直话：如果你选择读研只是想缓一缓就业焦虑，那选谁都行，别选我——但面试和被拒绝这门课你不该缺，我来帮你补上。可如果你读研，是因为真的对教育创新有想法、有冲动、有不甘心，那我们值得聊聊。

我是什么样的导师：

我是个实战派，更喜欢和一线的老师、学生、课程打交道。想搞纯理论研究的，别找我哈。

我自己当年统计学也学得"马吗嘚"，想搞 quantitative 研究的，求放过。

我们做的是行动研究、设计研究、案例研究——从真实场景里长出来的东西。

我自己玩 AI 玩得有点上头，你最好别输给我这年近半百的文科生。
