Dr. Yuxiao Fang is an Assistant Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He received his Ph.D. in 2021 from the University of Liverpool with a full scholarship. From 2021 to 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was awarded the title of “Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow of Jiangsu Province” in 2022.

His research focuses on oxide- and carbon nanotube-based transistor devices and circuits for next-generation semiconductor chips. He is the principal investigator of the 2025 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Young Scientists Fund (Category C) and the 2025 Jiangsu Young-Scholar Programme, and has also participated in four national key projects.

As first or corresponding author, he has published 11 papers in international journals, including one ESI Highly Cited Paper, and holds one granted U.S. and three granted Chinese invention patents.
