Personal profile
Yina Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics in School of Mathematics and Physics at XJTLU. She joined the University in 2016 after receiving her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Liverpool.
Dr. Liu is a principal investigator for numerous competitive research grants of national and provincial levels, including the NSFC General and Young Programs, the Jiangsu Science and Technology Program, Jiangsu University Natural Science Research Program and several key laboratory opening projects.
She has authored over 60 journal articles, including as corresponding author for publications in top-tier journals such as Nature Communications and Advanced Materials. Her current research is centered on developing smart sensing systems with applications in healthcare.
Dr. Liu has received several distinguished awards, including the Third Prize of ‘Science and Technology Award of China General Chamber of Commerce’, Third Prize at the National Competitive ‘Third JITRI Innovation Cup Competition’, School All-round Academic Excellence Award, and has been honored as an Innovation Entrepreneurship Doctor and a Suzhou Outstanding Teacher.
