Dr. Yan Pan is an Assistant Professor at the college of industry-entrepreneurs and HeXie Management Research Centre, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Dr. Pan earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Northeast Normal University and his Ph.D. from the School of Management, Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research interests center on leadership, creativity, work-family balance, and ICT use. He has won the Best Student Paper Award (2023), and top10% papers (2019) from the Academy of Management Annual Meetings. His research has appeared in Information Technology and People (ABS 3), Management Decision (ABS 2), European Management Journal (ABS 2), and the Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings. In teaching, Dr. Pan primarily teaches courses on building digital talent ecosystems and integrated innovation education. The course content covers various aspects such as performance management, training and development, compensation management, turnover management, and entrepreneurial management for digital talent, comprehensively cultivating students' practical skills and innovative thinking.
Additionally, Dr. Pan actively participates in consulting projects related to leadership development and self-motivation enhancement, aiming to apply theoretical knowledge to management practice. He provides feasible solutions for enterprises, promoting the deep integration of theory and practice.
