Personal profile

Yubin Guo is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial Design at the Design School. His research explores the intersection of gamification, design education, and educational technology. His doctoral work is a significant interdisciplinary project guided by a supervisory team with expertise spanning computer science, industrial design, and education.
 
Active in the academic community, Yubin has contributed to international conferences as a student organiser and technical committee member. He also serves as a peer reviewer for the European Journal of Education (EJED), an SSCI Q1 journal.
 
Current Research Progress:
(1) He has dedicated over 880 hours to teaching and research assistantship roles, supporting the academic mission of the department.
(2) A comprehensive literature review has been completed and is being prepared for journal submission.
(3) Two primary empirical studies are currently underway.
