My name is Xinyuan Lyu, and I go by Kara. I graduated from Columbia University with an M.A. in TESOL.
I am passionate about advancing English language teaching and learning through research and innovative pedagogical approaches. In my classes, I often incorporate gamified activities and technology platforms into students' learning journey and help students build their proficiency and overcome language barriers.
I am interested in conducting research on topics such as teaching and learning innovation, technology integration in teaching and learning, and English language teaching. I am also committed to leveraging research findings to enhance teaching methodologies and foster student success.
