Xinlan Zhao has been engaged in Chinese language teaching and materials development at XJTLU since 2010. Her responsibilities have included designing and delivering courses such as intensive Chinese modules, practical language programs, summer sessions, and cultural workshops. From 2014, she took on managerial roles at XJTLU, including Module Convenor and Program Coordinator, with duties covering curriculum design, assessment, and academic coordination. She holds a doctoral degree in Applied Linguistic Sciences from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where her research centered on corpus-based analysis of Mandarin lexical development and second language acquisition.
