Dr.Xiaoyu Tang is a statistician who strives for a balance between developing novel statistical methods and applying staitstistics in real-world problems. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Math and Econ at Boston Univeristy, received her master's degree in statistics at Yale Univeristy, and graduated with her Ph.D degree in Biostatistics at Boston University. Before joining in XJTLU, she worked as a manager in biostatisitics at Pfizer. She had extensive experiences in designs and data analyses for Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials and real-world studies. Her methodological work focuses on statistical methods in clinical trials, meta analysis and survival analysis. In addition, she also collaborates with hospitals and industries to provide statistcal support.
