Xiaoying Yuan is a Lecturer of Chinese in the Modern Languages Centre. She holds an M.A. in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Chongqing University and has more than a decade of experience delivering Mandarin programmes in Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States and China. Since joining Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in August 2019, she has taught across all proficiency levels (1–8), led the CLT 301 module, and designed and delivered Staff Chinese and Chinese Summer School courses.
