Dr. Wim Coreynen is an Associate Professor in the College of Industry-Entrepreneurs (CIE) at Xi’An Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in Suzhou, China. He earned his PhD from the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Antwerp (UA) in Belgium. He has also held positions at Zhejiang University School of Management (ZJUSOM) in China, the VU Amsterdam, Utrecht University (UU), and the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS) in the Netherlands, as well as the University of Antwerp and Antwerp Management School (AMS) in Belgium.

His research focuses on innovation—particularly business model innovation through services and technology—entrepreneurship, and intellectual property management. His work has been published in leading journals such as Research Policy and Technovation, and in books like The Palgrave Handbook of Servitization and Data Science for Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Coreynen has an extensive teaching track record across China, the Netherlands, and Belgium, working with organizations, executives, graduate students, and undergraduates. He currently teaches courses in innovation and entrepreneurship.
