Dr. Wentao Ma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. His research focuses on the application of big data in accounting, particularly through technologies like textual analysis, machine learning, and social network analytics. Dr. Ma investigates how these technologies can enhance regulatory and accounting compliance, as well as inform corporate governance decisions. His work has been published in leading journals, such as Information & Management (ABDC A*), and presented at premier accounting conferences around the world.
