Vasily Kostikov is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathem atics at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He has more than ten years of experience teaching mathematics and mechanics at the university level, with previous academic positions at Harbin Engineering University and Novosibirsk State University.
He received his PhD in Mechanics from the Lavrentyev Institute of Hydrodynam ics (Russian Academy of Sciences) in 2014, and completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Novosibirsk State University. His active research focuses on theoretical and computational fluid mechanics, water waves, wave-structure interaction, and hydroelasticity.
