Personal profile

Stefan is a faculty member at XJTLU’s Academy of Future Education, based at the Department of Educational Studies. His professional background includes work as a trainer and consultant in intercultural industry settings (EU, USA, China) as well as work in academia including international program administration and higher education teaching in Austria, Germany, and China.

He is interested in how technology, society, and culture interact, especially in educational settings. Educational technology, postdigitalism, access and inclusion, and social justice are common themes in his work - typically investigated through qualitative methods. Stefan’s research and teaching are based on an interdisciplinary education that includes business and tourism, international studies, communication, and education.

Stefan currently works with several MA students on their dissertation projects, and welcomes expressions of interest for future degree projects' supervision
