Dr. Siyue Yu graduated from Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) with a bachelors degree. In December 2022, she received her Ph.D. at the University of Liverpool (Electrical and Electronic Engineering). She was supervised by Prof. Jimin Xiao and Prof. Eng Gee Lim during her PhD. She joined XJTLU in January 2023 as a lecturer. During her doctoral period, she has been researching computer vision, including video object segmentation, weakly supervised salient object detection, and co-salient object detection. She has published papers in CVPR, AAAI, TPAMI and other internationally renowned authoritative conferences or journals, including three papers as the first author.
