Shuhua Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance at IBSS, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. She earned a Ph.D. in Finance from the School of Business at the University of Kansas, following the completion of both bachelor's and master's degrees at Tongji University. Her research interests include empirical banking and corporate finance, with a particular focus on syndicated loan contracting, innovation, corporate governance, and the impact of institutional context on firm decision-making.
