Sheau Wen Ong received her PhD from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia, and her MA from the University of Liverpool, UK. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media and Communication at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China.
