Personal profile
Dr. Shan Liang is currently an associate professor of Department of Intelligent Science at School of Advanced Technology in Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He received the Ph.D degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligence Systems from Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA) in July 2013. During 2013 to 2023, he worked as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR) in CASIA . He joined in XJTLU in March 2024. His research interests include speech and audio information processing, voice spoofing detection, sensor array signal processing, and large language model based human-computer interaction. Dr. Liang has published 50+ papers, including IEEE TASLP, Speech Communication, JASA, and won the ICASSP Best Student paper Award in 2018. As the leader, he finished 1 NSFC young project and 1 NSFC general project. He applied 6 granted patents and 2 international patents in the field of speech and signal processing. His research has been widely applied in industry, including Huawei, Tencent, Didi.
