Sam is originally from England but grew up between France and the UK. He completed his BA in Applied Foreign Languages in Toulouse (France) and his MA TESOL at Nottingham (UK).Sam has been teaching English for the past 20 years. Beginning as a high-school ESL teacher in Thailand, his focus in recent years has been EAP, managing and teaching pre-sessional courses for Heriot-Watt University in Thailand and teaching courses for Manchester and Warwick Universities in the UK. Before that he taught at a range of universities and schools across Thailand, Vietnam, China and Europe. He is also an IELTS examiner on occasion and has published several articles and given conference presentations on topics related to educational technology. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Authority in the UK.
