I received the First-class (Hons) degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Jilin University of China in 2001 and the Ph.D. degree in Computing and Mathematics from University of Ulster, UK in 2007. After my PhD study, I worked as a Research Associate at University of Bradford and University of Bristol in the UK. I joined Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University as a Lecturer in 2012. My current research interests include machine learning, data mining and pattern recognition.
