Personal profile

Dr. Ren Zhao is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Foundational Mathematics at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He holds a PhD in Mathematics and an MA in Mathematical Statistics from Wayne State University, as well as a BSc in Information and Computing Science from Xi’an Jiaotong University. Prior to joining XJTLU, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. He currently serves as the Final Year Project Coordinator in the School of Mathematics and Physics. Dr. Zhao’s research spans adaptive numerical methods for partial differential equations, machine learning, and mathematics pedagogy.
