Dr. Qingwei Wang is Associate Professor of Health Policy and Systems at the Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Dr. Wang graduated from Renmin University of China with a bachelor degree in Environmental Economics. He received a master's degree in Public Administration from Cornell University and doctoral degree in Population Health Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Wang's research examines the broader social, economic, and political factors that drive the development of health system. His current work includes studies of the role of intersectoral governance, leadership and partnerships to stimulate and guide population health improvement, key issues in China's long-term care policy, Alzheimer's caregiving dynamics in China, and comparative analysis of health policies in China and the US.
