Dr. Qifeng LU is serving as an Associate Professor and Director of Education and Research and Development Institute (ERDI) at the School of CHIPS at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Qifeng Lu obtained Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool in 2018 and worked as postdoctoral research at the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2018 to 2021. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), a Senior Member of IEEE, a Senior Member of the Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology, an Executive Council Member of the New Quality Materials Development Alliance, and a Committee Member of the National Expert Committee on Functional Materials and Devices. His research interest focuses on artificial synaptic devices and flexible sensors. Dr. Lu have published over 50 papers such as InfoMat, Nano Research and npj Flexible Electronics, with several selected as cover articles. Qifeng Lu have served as the lead for a sub-task of a National Key R&D Program. Currently, Dr. Lu is leading several provincial and ministerial-level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He won the 2023 Microsystems & Nanoengineering Young Scientist Award, the 2022-2023 Academic Year All-Round Academic Excellence Award at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (Taicang Campus), the 2022-2023 Research Advancement Award from the School of CHIPS, the Third Prize for Outstanding Academic Papers in Natural Science in Suzhou (2021-2022), and the 2022 Dushu Lake Higher Education Zone Science and Education Backbone Talent Award. His research achievements have been featured in media outlets such as Scientific Chinese and China High-Tech.
