Qiaoyan Lin is an Assistant Professor at the XIPU Institution (Think Tank), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). She obtained her PhD degree in Freshwater Ecology from the University of Liverpool. Her doctoral programme covers a range of topics within environmental assessment and management. These include the impacts of multiple stressors on aquatic ecosystems and integrated river basin restoration and management. Her research interests include ecological restoration, ecological planning, biodiversity conservation, carbon neutrality, green and low carbon industry, and research that eventually leads to sustainable environmental management.
