Personal profile
Qian Dong received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computational engineering from the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. From 2014 to 2015, she was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Texas AM University, USA. She is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Communications and Networking, Xi’an Jiaotong-liverpool University. She has been awarded the talent honor of 江苏高校“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人. Her research interests include ad hoc networks, mobile computing, 5G technology, and the Internet of Things (IoT). She was an invited reviewer for IEEE COMST, IEEE IoT Journal, IEEE TVT, JNCA, and others.
I am recruiting Ph.D., MRes/MSc, and undergraduate students in 3 research directions: 1. Handover design in SDN-based heterogeneous mobile networks. 2. Wireless indoor localization for mobile nodes with AI technology. 3. Unmanned intelligent vehicle system.
I am currently holding two Ph.D. scholoship projects, and recruiting the students who have completed their master degrees. Students working with me usually can publish paper as the first author in journals and conferences.
