Pietro Borsano is an Associate Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Entrepreneur College near Shanghai, and Preparatory Director of the XJTLU Syntegrative Education Center (Thailand), a new Bangkok-based center in partnership with C.P. Group. He specializes in entrepreneurship education, industry-academic partnerships, AI-enabled learning, and venture development across Europe, ASEAN, and China. He also serves as an advisor to Siam University Global Academy and as an adjunct professor at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation in Malaysia.

He is active in Hong Kong’s innovation and education ecosystem as an investor in the AI EdTech startup Master Mock Ltd. and as a Peer Review Expert for Hong Kong’s Innovation and Technology Venture Fund.

Previously, Pietro was Deputy Executive Director, equivalent to vice-dean, at Chulalongkorn University’s School of Integrated Innovation in Bangkok, where he co-founded the institution, developed global partnerships, and designed its entrepreneurship curriculum. Prior to joining academia, Pietro worked in management consulting, supporting firms’ internationalization.

His research focuses on digital transformation, family business entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship ecosystems. He holds degrees in corporate law from the University of Turin in Italy and business administration from ESCP Business School in France.
