Personal profile
Dr. Peicheng (Vincent) Xu received his B.Eng. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Liverpool, M.Sc. degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh, and Ph.D. degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge. There, he accumulated extensive hands-on experience working on colloidal self-assembly and producing multifunctional bio-inspired nanomaterials. Afterwards, he joined Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München as a research associate, carrying out study on DNA nanotechnology. In 2021, Dr. Xu became an International Young Scientist Fellow at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since then, he started his research in smart sensing and liquid-crystal facilitated medical devices. In early 2024, Dr. Xu joined XJTLU Wisdom Lake Academy of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor.
