Dr. Ningxin (Jennifer) Wang is a faculty member in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation department. She has worked with leading technology companies including Huawei, Infineon, and Alcatel, where she gained firsthand experience with the dynamic evolution of technology and its transformative impact on global business. These experiences intriggered her long-lasting research interest in how organizations anticipate, respond to, and capitalize on change in uncertain environments through entrepreneurial pursuits.
Her research focuses on managerial foresight and managerial risk-taking, with particular attention to the outcomes of risk-oriented activities in corporate entrepreneurship, venturing, and innovation. She is especially interested in understanding how leaders balance opportunity and uncertainty, and how their strategic choices influence organizational performance and long-term competitiveness.
In addition to her research, Dr. Wang is passionate about teaching and mentoring. She seeks to equip students with both the mindset and the practical tools to embrace innovation, manage risk, and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities in a rapidly evolving world.
